This is a quick review of the Hillsdale Cierra 30″ Swivel Bar Stool. I don’t have tons to say about it really other than it has a great look and design to them. These things would go great with a cute outdoor or indoor bistro table without looking out of place. Of course, I’m sure Hillsdale makes a bistro table for just that sort of fancy but moving on. It also goes great for an actual bar-like table that you may have somewhere in the home.

I believe it only comes in a couple of colors and really have a great room matching versatility that other stools may have, although it does come in vanilla so there shouldn’t be too many problems. The chair is also very sturdy, which is very important for a bar stool, and you shouldn’t fear of falling. The swivel action is also very nice.

The one complaint I have with the Hillsdale Cierra stool is that the back rest wasn’t very tall. That could just be a complaint for tall folks though, as I’m the type to lean back rather than sit straight up. Still, it’s something worth checking out at least at the store. At over $130, the Hillsdale Cierra 30 inch Swivel Bar Stool is a quality high end piece of furniture for you to place at the dining table.

What is the Best Furniture Fabric That Resists Pet Hair?

This is a common dilemma for pet owners: “how to keep my furniture clean and free of pet hair and dandruff?” It can be a painful question as either the furniture has to change, rules will need to be in place to keep the pets out of the house and outside or, worse yet, the pets may have to be gone.

With that said the top fabric we’ve found that can be used to stop the collection of cat or dog hair is ultra suede. Getting furniture upholstered with ultra suede fabric is great because it is extra dense making it hard for hair to gather underneath or in it, making it easier to clean using a vacuum or a product like Pledge’s Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair.

Some other furniture ideas that are animal proof includes getting mostly wood furinture, particularly teak wood. These are durable items that are usually treated with oils causing oders and tastes most cats or dogs won’t want to deal with. It shoudl certainly help those that try to scratch or chew on furniture. Velour upholstery is also something that is also highly resistant to scratching and fur clotting.
